Earn AMA PRA Category 1 CME Credits™!

Select Subscription Type

Description

You now have an opportunity to earn CME credits by reading an article in The American Journal of Psychiatry and completing a short course for up to 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit. The course comprises reading the article and answering three multiple-choice questions with a single correct answer. Upon completion of the course, correct answers will be highlighted for the reader's reference; there is no minimum threshold score necessary for the credit. A link from the question to the correct answer in context will be highlighted in the associated article, thus extending the learning experience for people who want to read more. A certificate documenting participation in the course and credits claimed is generated upon completion of the course. Progress through courses, certificates, and credits claimed are tracked in My CME personal folder.

The AJP CME program grants you access to 36 courses for the calendar year that you subscribe. You will be able to select from the courses already produced in this calendar year and then able to access the remaining courses as they become available.

In support of improving patient care, the American Psychiatric Association is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. CME credit is issued only online.

The APA designates this enduring activity for a maximum of 36 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
