You now have an opportunity to earn CME credits by reading an article in The American Journal of Psychiatry and completing a short course for up to 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit. The course comprises reading the article and answering three multiple-choice questions with a single correct answer. Upon completion of the course, correct answers will be highlighted for the reader’s reference; there is no minimum threshold score necessary for the credit. A link from the question to the correct answer in context will be highlighted in the associated article, thus extending the learning experience for people who want to read more. A certificate documenting participation in the course and credits claimed is generated upon completion of the course. Progress through courses, certificates, and credits claimed are tracked in My CME personal folder.
The AJP CME program grants you access to 108 courses over a 3-year period. From the moment you subscribe, you will be able to select from all of the courses of the previous calendar year plus those already produced in the current year. You’ll then be able to access the remaining courses in the current year plus the following calendar year’s courses as they become available.
The American Psychiatric Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. CME credit is issued only online.
